Inclusion & Diversity
Every day, with every effort, we strive to welcome, hear, respect, and value everyone..
Inclusion and Diversity have been pillars of our global enduring values for a long time. While our racial equality pledge has a U.S. focus, it is rooted in our global values and many of the actions are mirrored in other parts of the world. The commitment is crystal clear: we will have a zero tolerance policy for racial marginalization within the company, one that will regularly be communicated across the entire organization.
We do recognize racial inequality is a much broader societal issue with a long history. While our actions focus on our “four walls” and our local communities, we hope that these actions will have a ripple effect on society at large.
Our strength at Whirlpool Corporation is in our differences.
Creating an Environment Where Everyone Can Thrive

Inclusion creates a culture of belonging, diversity makes us better.
Our Commitment to Transparency
In our commitment to Inclusion and Diversity, we continue to strive for a workforce as diverse as the customers we serve. Whirlpool Corporation is fully committed to transparency, measuring how we are doing, and understanding what it will take to improve.

We Are Creating An Inclusive Culture
Working at Whirlpool is about feeling welcome and included from the first contact. It is embracing your differences and finding value in them. It’s being able to use your creativity to improve life at home for millions of people. It is growing with the same opportunities in an international and digital environment where the future is today.
I’m so proud to work for a company that celebrates our differences and strives for an environment where all employees feel valued. My experiences working within our employee resource groups has positively impacted both our internal Whirlpool and external local communities.
My colleagues at Whirlpool have always made it feasible for me to bring my full, authentic self to work. Their support and encouragement has created an inclusive environment that has afforded me the opportunity to accelerate my career and make a lasting impact within the organization.
I enjoy working for a company that truly believes in Inclusion & Diversity and has made this initiative a focus within our strategic agenda. I felt heard and encouraged when our CEO signed the Whirlpool Racial Equality Pledge in the midst of racial injustices taking place in our country. It is important that the workplace culture encourages, embraces and celebrates each employee’s unique contributions.
Throughout my career with Whirlpool, I have consistently felt valued and supported as an African American employee. From all levels of leadership, I have been empowered to give back to the community and have been provided the tools, platform, and resources to do so.
For a foreign national like myself, Whirlpool is SO much more than just a place of work. Whirlpool is also my family and school. Over the years, Whirlpool has always supported me, my family and my career to grow and flourish.
