Recognizing the sacrifices made by so many on this Veterans Day, the Whirlpool Corporation honored their veterans with a raising of the flag ceremony Friday morning at the plant in Greenville.
A number of Whirlpool employees, that have or currently are serving, were honored as the flag was raised along with the signing of the National Anthem outside the main entrance of the factory.
“The recognition from Whirlpool is very appreciated,” said employee Keith Turner, who served in the United States Marine Corps from 1980-1986 and served in Iraq as a civilian from 2003-2008.
