Jeff Fettig was one of 133 CEO’s featured in “Create, Grow, Sustain: People and Technology at Work,” the 2016 sustainability report issued recently by Business Roundtable. Now in it’s ninth year, the report features narratives from CEO’s on how their companies are promoting sustainable business practices while improving the quality of life in communities across America and around the world.
The CEOs who participated this year share their own stories and cover the gamut, from drastically increasing the use of renewable energy to adopting personnel policies that reduce the carbon footprint of their workforces.

Business Roundtable (BRT) is an association of chief executive officers of leading US. companies working to promote sound public policy and a thriving US economy. BRT CEO members lead companies with $7 trillion in annual revenues and nearly 16 million employees. Member companies comprise nearly one-fifth of the total market capitalization of US stock markets and invest $129 billion annually in research and development — equal to 70% of US private R&D spending. Member companies pay more than $222 billion in dividends to shareholders and generate more than $495 billion in sales for small and medium-sized businesses annually. BRT companies also make more than $8 billion a year in combined charitable contributions.
