Earlier this summer, Whirlpool Corporation hosted a “Day of Impact” employee volunteer day of service to make improvements to Broadway Park in Benton Harbor. The selection of the park and vision for improvements were planned by working closely with Benton Harbor city officials and input from the community. The work continued throughout the summer and was celebrated at a dedication event in August where the park was renamed “June Woods Park” in honor of a community pillar in Benton Harbor. This is the second Whirlpool Corporation Day of Impact with Union Park in Benton Harbor being revitalized in 2022.
