The event celebrated iconic design, with British Telephone Boxes and Vespa Motorcycles and renowned KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixers displayed across the venue. Baking expert and author of Cakeology cookbook, Juliet Sear, treated guests to some of her delicious creations with live demonstrations throughout the event. All in-keeping with the iconic KitchenAid Empire Red, there were Red Velvet Cupcakes, homemade Jammy Dodgers, and mini biscuit replicas of the Iconic Fridge. Iconic being the theme of the event, visitors also indulged in some Best of British canapés, including firm favourite fish & chips.
The new KitchenAid Iconic fridge mirrors the aesthetic of the brand’s Artisan Stand Mixer, and is available in the three most popular colours: Empire Red, Almond Cream and Onyx Black. The new appliance recalls the timeless beauty of the Artisan Stand Mixer with the addition of a chrome handle and plinth, and the visible brand medallion adds that touch of luxury.
The fridge has a generous 221 litre net capacity and features a durable full metal door, electronic controls and touch user interface. The ProAir System constantly monitors the temperature and humidity inside the appliance to prolong the life of fresh ingredients. Additionally, the fridge features a Fast Cool function, which quickly lowers the temperate at the push of a button, allowing the user to immediately cool fresh food.Simon Langley, Marketing Manager UK, for KitchenAid, commented: “We’re very proud to launch the new KitchenAid Iconic Fridge Freezer. At KitchenAid, design is one of the most important values, from our Artisan Stand Mixer to the new fridge, we aim to maintain iconic design. Every detail of our new iconic fridge has been carefully thought through, from the addition of the chrome handle and plinth to the location of the brand medallion, so our customers can make a real statement in their kitchen.”
