Grand Rapids police officer Mike Harris has made a significant contribution to provide local youth with the steady guidance they need to recognize their full potential and achieve great futures, and has won the 2016 Maytag Dependable Leader Award. In addition to the $20,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Grand Rapids, Rosa Keszler, community relations specialist, and Laura Ginter, Maytag channel marketing manager, attended the award event and presented Officer Harris with two tickets to a Pistons basketball game in recognition of his integral involvement with the Club’s national championship-winning boys and girls basketball program.
