Comerio, Italy, November November 21, 2016 – Andrea Ciccolini has been appointed Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Whirlpool EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). In his role, he will directly report to Esther Berrozpe Galindo, President of Whirlpool EMEA.

Prior to this role, Andrea was based in the United States where he was CIO of Patterson Medical. With a responsibility over the global IT organization, he personally contributed to the creation of a brand-new and avant-garde IT infrastructure. Over 15 years, he held prominent roles in the field of Information Technologies within major International companies such as Hospira and Federal-Mogul, thus lending his name to innovative initiatives in the health and automotive industries.
Andrea, 45 years old, graduated in Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. ln 2014, the Chamber of Commerce of Turin appointed him “Mentor for International Growth”, a recognition reserved to Italian professionals living and working abroad, but still bonded to Piedmont Region for origin, academic or professional reasons.
