news-GPO-org-Sept2017-2Today (Sept. 19) Dave Szczupak, Executive Vice President of Whirlpool Corporation’s Global Product Organization since 2008, shared his plans to retire from the company. Szczupak will  step away from his current position effective October 1, when Roberto Campos, the company’s current Senior Vice President in Global Product Development will succeed Szczupak to lead the Global Product Organization. Szczupak will remain with the company and assist with this transition through the first quarter of 2018.

Associated with this move, the Global Strategic Sourcing function led by Liz Door, Senior Vice President, will report directly to incoming CEO Marc Bitzer. Elevating GSS coincides with increased global focus and alignment efforts.

Christian Gianni, leader of Global Technology, is appointed Whirlpool Corporation’s Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Christian grows his responsibility for landing technology innovations, tools, and solutions including IoT.
